I received three packages today, it felt like Christmas! The one from Europe is the one I am obsessing over. So now I just need to find a bride that loves it as much as I do. What do you think?
When I go fabric shopping I make a lot of stupid decisions. This piece makes all of those other decisions worth it. It holds it's own but could be embellished to make something frothy and delightful. (Did I just say "delightful"?)
So I will wait patiently til I meet the right person for this piece. I love this game of matching.

That looks very similar to the overlay fabric on my wedding gown. My mother then lovingly spent the next 5 months sewing on 22,000+ beads.
I hope the right bride finds you soon, that will make a beautiful gown!
When you buy, fabric or lace that you don't yet know what you are going to be doing with it, how much do you get? Just courious.
Alison, I get enough for at least one dress. If it is a classic piece, I will snag a roll. It is funny how a beautiful piece of lace can be interpreted in so many ways.
If I find something I love that wouldn't work for a wedding gown, I buy 5 yards.
Oh, if only my Wedding weren't only 45 days away, and if only I didn't have a gown already....sigh...
Do you have sources where you buy your fabric from listed on your site?
Wow. That's stunning.
